Suffering?

How does it do any good to dwell on negative thoughts?

How can one ignore and brush aside the suffering of others?

Is the only way to deal with suffering by doing it on an individual level? I. E. each person deals with his or her own suffering? And there is really no way I can help you our of your suffering except by being as calm, steady, and present as I can?
